Solid-State AI

A mind that thinks by routing — not by freestyle alone. Inference as a protocol. Living product mind: Brain Box on thrift iron.

What this is

Solid-State AI is an architecture for a product mind: thoughts move as structured packets (BRAIN/TCP), departments are server-like hops (memory, executive, speech…), and memory is bound from addressable fact cards and sealed concept chips — not hoped into a giant freestyle model’s weights.

Routing is inference: the path a thought takes is the thought. You can inspect hops the way you watch network traffic. Transformers remain optional organs (kiln / consult), not the whole mind.

What ships today (Brain Box)

End goal (one paragraph)

Longer term: inference as a network protocol — specialized brain-services that can live on different machines; quiet background clients that discover neighbors; sealed knowledge exchanged like pieces in a swarm (BitTorrent-shaped intelligence). Local houses keep seal authority over product truth. Frontier models remain optional seeders/kilns — not the architecture. At scale, a fabric of sealed knowledge and organs can grow larger than any single warehouse model.
